Abstract In this paper, we go forth attempt to examine some of the issues unreassuring African-American family. The argonas examine were environmental issues, relationships, health matters and educational challenges. We will also explore possible solutions to each one of these topics. Intro in that respect are many problems facing the African-American family in like a shots society. The topics that have been chosen are from our personal thoughts and experiences. This team believes that they are prevalent in the African-American family. The topics that will be presented in this paper are; environmental issues, relationships, health issues and finally educational obstacles. Environmental Issues African-American families are faced with many problems environs crime. High levels of crime exist in these poverty stricken communities. Many children grow up on the passageways learning to detain on their own. They have no flake of guidance from their parents. No one is around or willing to help them supervise with the everyday problems of growing up. What they find on the streets is a type of acceptance that faces good for the moment. Gangs are one such street group that offer that trust, acceptance and love that the youths are aspect for. Everyone wants to experience the feeling of belonging.

These children are lured into violent lifestyles by such feelings. It is unfortunate for children to group up in these types of environments, these behaviors are ago down from generation to generation. It is very difficult for the cycle to be broken especially now that the economy requires a deuce parent income to get ahead financially. One of the ways to adjourn the issue is by having more community support by providing more after school programs to keep the children in defend and adequately supervised locations.
