The British began severely taxing and controlling the colonists because they were in debt, which infuriated them, so the colonists had the right to remonstrance and eventually rebel and start the home War. The British started controlling the colonists in the Quatering proceed, and they taxed the colonists in the Stamp turning. The queer regnant sent 10,000 British lots during the Quatering Act to implement the Proclaimation of 1763. Soldiers were as well housed in the colonists homes. The colonists had to pay for British fuel, candles, beer, and troop transport because the British Treasury went bankrupt.
