Enders back up: The story of a young, brilliant boy who is designate to save humanity by leading a rush force against an alien race that hasnt been seen by humans in seventy years. Though the story takes place in the future, the problems go about by the characters are those humanity faces today.

The frigorific war is everywhere now, only when some twenty- both years ago, people in America and Western Europe still had a make pass enemy in the Soviets. Communism vs. capitalism, west vs. east, us vs. them. on that point were harsh feelings on both sides, yet what really was the deflexion between the sides? The differences were trifles, and I dont think there is need to elaborate, but just to say that the world was divided in two for some seventy years because people couldnt agree on how economies and governments should work.

Seventy years. That was the approximate duration of the cold war, and it was the time between the Second Invasion and the Third Invasion. Coincidence? Yes, but a nice one to point out if one wants to shriek Orson Scott Card a visionary writer. There is the difference though, that by and by seventy years in Cards world, human forces have a confrontation with their long-time enemies, and in our world, communism sort of fizzled out in the early nineties because of numerous problems throughout the eastern block.

Enders Game is secernly about this struggle that all Americans went through during the cold war, but there is certainly more. In fact, the more part is the important part because it is slightly subtle.
