Did you ever think an African American would become chairwoman? (EXCIETMENT) The Presidential election of November 4, 2008 was a historical time in the United States. Barack Obama, II is an ACHIEVER and a BELIEVER. He is a man with goals and a vision for a better take for ALL PEOPLE.
While attending Law School and majoring in Political Science, he saw problems in moolah at heart his community. He was ready to continue his battle to organize Chicago south side neighborhood. They tried to discourage him from being actively involved in effecting change in the community and allowing mess to think, THEY COULD DARE TO HAVE HOPE.
So, Obama thrived and disciplined himself to run for the Illinois Senate. But Barack had larger things that he wanted to accomplish and saw a great challenge he could pursue, he ran for President of the United States. He started his political career being the fifth African American Senator in US history.
On February 10, 2007, Obama announced his democratic run for the President of the United States in front of the old show capital building in Springfield. The issues he really emphasised were the Iraq war and energy independence and how we should reserve energy and manipulation it wisely. Also he spoke about universal health care and other important issues that are going on right now.
During his victory speech in Chicago he said There is change thats going to come, it may non happen right a way, we may not even use up there in one year, or even in one term, but we will get there.
