Greed was apparent even in the beginning of the rule book when in chapter four titty came back to take pack to His Property. In my opinion Huck is not greedy at every. He sold six thousand dollars to judge Thatcher for scarcely one dollar. This made Pap pretty pissed tally so most of their time spent to take a crapher was Pap getting drunk and beating Huck. Paps piggishness drove Huck to faking his own death and running away.

other example of greed is in chapter thirteen when the robbers were arguing closely killing one the members named Jim Turner for wanting all the currency for him self. The greed turned on all of them when the storm very picked up and the ship started sinking. Huck and Jim then took the only skiff to thrash which was kind of greedy, but later on Huck told a ferry captain to check the wreck to see if they were all right. Huck again proves to be a non greedy person.

In chapter sixteen Huck and Jim were struck by a steamboat age floating down the river on their raft. In chapter seventeen, Huck free-base himself at the Granger fords domicil and he said I havent seen no house out in the country that was so nice and had so much style.



All the physical possessions that they had could mean that maybe they were a little greedy. Also when Huck was talking to Jim and he asked Jim take overt you ever think about me, he got a little greedy because his new life was good he didnt want to leave. Later on Hucks non greedy side got the better of him and they ended up expiration again anyways.

So in my opinion these are slightly good examples of greed. Also I would say that Huck is a very non greedy person. Huck helped a lot of the large number in the story he did not need to.
