Apple Juice and Enzymes
Introduction:
The company, Apple Tree Inc., is devising apple juice by straining apple behave through strainers and selling it. Theyre testing different enzymes to consider out if they will help remove the juice faster. formerly the enzymes and the control are tested, they will see what maximizes juice employment and which would be the most cost effective. The two enzymes and their prices that are world tested are Pectinase- $50 per liter and Cellulose- $100 per liter.
Materials:
* 2 containers of apple sauce
* Pectinase enzyme
* Cellulose enzyme
* 2 pipettes
* 3 plastic measuring shapes
* 9 drinking chocolate filters
* 3 funnels
* 9 plastic/paper cups
* Splash-proof gape & apron
* 2 droppers
* 3 intake rods
* 9 tick offing dots
* 3 graduated cylinder
Procedure:
1. Fill two cups with apple sauce(210 mL)
2. Set up terce of the plastic cups
3. Label 1 cup Pectinase, one Cellulose, and the last control
4. Fold three burnt umber filters and put them in three funnels so that the opening is close at the bottom
5. Place the funnels in the three cups
6. Fill three of the plastic measuring cups with 20 mL of applesauce each
