Critical mentation is the art of cerebration about thinking trance thinking in order to make thinking amend. It involves three interwoven phases: it analyzes thinking, prises thinking, and improves thinking (Paul & Elder, 2006). It means by keeping the thinking process open to analyze the process of the thought and evaluate the best solution although the individual improves the thinking process. In 2007, AZ2 (AW) Xavier Gordon had confront a problem while he was at sea. Everything was brand-new to him because it was his first time out to sea as the precisely person in his rate with a detachment.
