In the videos we watched they showed how These big guys in the Film market were becoming monopolies, controlling all the small studios by giving them opportunity to get their movies. They had no interpret if they increased prices, they had to accept any way to get the films. This, without a doubt, was the reason the Studio System lasted as long as it did, however the government couldnt allow it. Before 1948, when the Studio System was still going, a way these big dramatic art owners made strong bills on was by close off Booking. Block Booking was a system of covering quadruplicate films to a theater as a unit.



This meant that the Major Studios would sell films in a package to smaller and competitor Studios. Of trend when selling packages to smaller studios, they gave them one of two Popular movies and the counterbalance not so good movies. It was incredibly unfair and they forced these mediocre studios to pay money for a couple of good movies and a few bad ones. The worst part was that these smaller studios had to wait 2 or 3 weeks before they got vernal films. The Studio System really was not fit for the commercialise after the depression, a tragic part of Americas history.
