Veronika Decides to Die This novel is about a young girl, who apparently has a normal life, and has e genuinelything to be happy. Her name is Veronika, she is 24 years octogenarian and she lives in a small city called Ljubljana, Slovenia. She has a fortunate job and a wonderful apartment where she lives by herself. Veronika is a beautiful woman, who usually hangs out a serving, and has a lot of fun with the guys that she meets at bars, but she has never fell in love with no one before, maybe that is why she does non believe in love and marriage. She has wonderful parents, and always entrances very well with them. Veronika has everything to be happy, but she is not. Regular people could think that she has a perfect life, but she feels like her life was punctuate in a very predictable routine in years, that make her see life like something very dull and uninteresting, so Veronika decides to die, but she was not killing herself because she was a sad, deadly woman, living in a constant depression; she believed that she was dead normal. She decided to die for just two simple efforts: the for the first time reason is because everything in her life is the homogeneous, after the youth came the decadency, the quondam(a) age with the sickness, leaving irreversible marks, friends leaving this knowledge domain, nothing could get better, in contrary, will just get worse.

The second reason was more philosophic, Veronika reads the news papers, watches the news on television and everything in this world is wrong, and she cant fix it. This makes her feel altogether useless. She did not want to stay in the same city, in the same job, with the same people for 30, 40 years, where everything repeats and loses its originality. Everyday is the same to her. Then she started thinking if god really exist: If he really exists, that I really dont believe, he will understand that is a limit for human comprehension. God created all this confusion, misery, injustice, loneness, so he will have compassionateness on us who want to leave this crazy world sooner....
