As an African American, I name g unrivaled with school learning closely the slavery of black slaves, the kill of the blacks by the Ku Klux Klan, and the famous lives of Malcolm X and Dr. Martin Luther index Jr. And whole these things have led to one thing disappointment. Malcolm X and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. were assassinated, there are no slaves, but racial discrimination is as strong as ever in the joined States of America, and worst of all, instead of the Ku Klux Klan lynching blacks, we as a play are tearing and bringing each different down. notwithstanding through all this, the African American race rancid a corner as a whole on November 4, 2008. On this day, Barack Hussein Obama II was elected the forty-fourth chairwoman of the United States of America. Going to a predominately Caucasian high school, you have to learn & view things from both sides of the spectrum. On one hand, I was excited to see if I would be a part of the generation that would witness history, but on the other hand, I was apprehensive to see if Barack Obama would live up to the hack or would he crack under the pressure of the media and the American people.

Regardless of what you think, the way your parents or family view politics, greatly distorts your views of politics, and I was no different. One emotion I often matt-up when politics were brought up was anger. While discussing politics with other individual, you get out come across people who are ignorant about the subject. The one thing that angered me the most was when people would remove me if I was supporting Barack Obama for the simple fact that he was black. You convey with these ignorant people in the best way you can. The way I dealt with it is I would ask one simple question, Is the corresponding reason why you think I am supporting him, the same reason that you do not support him?
